Great service and food. They were completely slammed and we didn't have to wait long at all for anything.

It was the worst restaurant i would never come back, after been waiting for out waitress for like an hour, then i ask for a refill he took like 15 min to come back, then the food was terrible i ask for a cheeseburger for my little girl and like 20 min later he comes and tell me they don’t have cheeseburgers 🙄, then we weren’t finished eating when he came to my table and give me the CHECK that i didn’t even ask him for it i wasn’t not even done!!! Then when i try to pay THERE WAS NOBODY it was just TWO TABLES and it was no waitress taking care of the tables 🙄 I WOULD NEVER COME BACK!!!

Honestly the chicken fingers are delicious plus there's a lot of variated foods but it's all Mexican food nice restaurant desing honestly LOVE IT.

Changed from 5 stars to 1. Was a great spot. Did get fast service with good food.Arrive today at 1216pm. Not busy by any means. My fathers food arrived at 1251, mine at 1258. His was cold. Mine was refused. 40 minutes for lunch fajitas? No thanks. Not eating food that sat back there under a heat lamp while people talked across it. Pathetic. Drinks in photo have been at that level for 20 min plus.

Great food, good prices, especially on theme nights. Beautifully carved chairs and booths. And, golf car accessible.

Not a Mexican foodie but my meal was very good and service great.

First time there today (3-12-2020). We were seated immediately. Our server, Nicki (sp?), was extremely helpful with food recommendations and was spot on. She was very attentive, especially with the number of patrons there. The food was very good, and our server was even better!

One of my favorite places to go. The bar tender sucks though. He was promoted from the kitchen and he just seems to have a bitter personality. Has no clue how to make mixed drinks. The food is pretty good though and Thursday nights are 99 cent tacos with karaoke. Great entertainment.

This is the absolute best Mexican restaurant in the Villages. Always fast service excellent food and 2 dollar beers. I would highly recommend El Ranchito to anyone I meet.

We had a wonderful experience in this authentic Mexican little restaurant. The food was delicious and our server Kevin went above and beyond in his service. We will definitely be returning real soon.

Good food, prices, service and margaritas

While the front half of the restaurant is a little cramped in seating arrangement the back is much more spacious. Their food is reasonably priced and delicious with a great variety. I had the carnitas which was amazing. They also offer 2 for 1 Margaritas and food specials daily. The staff works as a team to ensure customers are well taken care of and think they have a karaoke night if you want to bust out a song.

We all on quarantine and relay on each other and a good service. We never ate in this place and we never will after today. I ordered vegetable fajitas and my husband got the combo platter. My order was suppose to come with rice and beans and tortillas. Well all I received is plate full of some nasty no seasoned at all veggies, they was tasted bitter. It’s beyond my understanding how can you spoil veggies that much. My husband’s food was simply disgusting, rice was tasted like it’s couple days old and food had no flavor. When I called and complained they told me to go come over and get my rice and beans because they don’t have a. delivery anymore , which is not true DoorDash showing deliveries for this place until 8:30 and I called 7:15 .

Food was a little slow getting out, but it all tasted excellent anyway!

Amazing authentic Mexican food...everything was amazing including the service! The decor could use a little up date but having that nostalgic Mexican feel makes it all the better! For 5 stars I will give it a 10! PRICES ARE AMAZING!!!

Great food. We have been several times, never disappointed. Only issue was servers seem to be lurking around waiting for you to take your last bite so they can clean the table. I don't like to be rushed.

Fantastic food, very fresh, chips were fresh and the salsa has just thebrught amount of kick to it. Will be back!

We recently went back to El Ranchito and found they have completely updated their dining rooms. It's beautiful with magnificent booths and each table has a unique painting. It's worth a visit just to see the renovation. The food is still great and this is the only place for miles around to get cheese enchiladas. The salsa is delicious and food is always good.

Terrible burritos. Well actually the meat really. Both the beef and steak were gross. Beef was grainy and steak was super chewy. I will give them the cheesecake burrito was good.

Love this place. They go out of their way to accommodate our particular modifications to their perfectly adequate menu. The table salsa is delicious, the portions are very generous, the attention from staff is fantastic. Skip the chain restaurants around and go to El Ranchito!

I really did not enjoy any of the food s we ordered (at all). I had chicken quesodilla, hubby beef tacos, also we had nachos. The major problem with all of the dishes was that all the tomato & other Sauces were WAY too sweet, like sugary sweet! The salsa tasted like katsup, and was a similar texture. I am giving 2 stars because the place is clean, the service was polite & fast. Sorry, hate to give a bad review but, it's an honest review.

Not worth the ti.e, you will get a better meal at taco bell, the ground beef for the tacos and burritos were almost a puree. The cheese burger in the kids meal was a soy patty and not actual beef, and for some reason the steak in the fajitas tasted like teriyaki sauce. The icing on the cake was the beer. Ordered a draft amber beer and there was a huge chunk of something floating in the bottom of the glass, i am sure it came from their lines and was pure bacteria. Save yourself some money, and a possible trip to the hospital and buy some sushi off of a truck its safer

Best Chalupa Ever

The good thing about this place is the atmosphere. Very lively place with live music. The service was fine and the margarita's were also good. I just did not like the food. The meat was too well done while I ordered as medium rare as possible. It was all just a bit to basic for a 4 star, but nothing that can't be fixed easily!

We've been in Florida for 3 years and this is our favorite Mexican restaurant. We enjoy the food and atmosphere...and most of all, the great people who work there. Everything is excellent.

The 2-for-1 margaritas give this place an extra star for me, otherwise it would have been 2 stars as it seems like the service is consistently slow. It seems like they're always short handed. The food came out quickly and was typical fare for a Mexican restaurant. Make sure to specify exactly what you want as my meal did not mention lettuce, tomato and sour cream on the menu but came with it anyway. Margaritas were ok and what you would expect for a 2-for-1 deal. If you're looking for a top shelf, high quality cocktail, the 2-for-1 special isn't for you. The best part of our meal was the queso as it was a LOT of queso. Many Mexican restaurants seem to skimp on their serving size, but not this place. Plenty of queso, chips and salsa for sure.

Good food, good service. Small n cozy, not busy, got a seat right away. Had a great lunch, their tamales are authentic. Will be back for more. Decor was beautiful, they just remodeled recently.

Love this quiet little mexican stop. Tucked away in the heart of the villages. The decor is beautiful and the food is hot fresh and authentic. The servers are very friendly and offer a true taste of Mexico. Dont miss out on this lil gem. They offer weekly specials and their menu prices are very reasonable.
